Extreme Tag

Extreme tag is an Indie Game on steam that I had the pleasure of writing 5 tracks for. From heavier grunge tones, to tracks filled with bird sounds, I got to help design a full range of worlds. Each track is loopable, and I recommend you listen to them with headphones on . Hope you enjoy listening, while watching me fall to my death a few too many times during gameplay.

Extreme Tag - Shroomville

I was asked to write a Bouncy, Vibrant, and Trance-like piece that was synth focused and around 140BPM. I enjoyed using gameplay elements, like bounce pad mushrooms, to enhance the magic of this level.

Extreme Tag - Last Stop

They asked for a grunge, heavy metal track with guitar, dark bass, and fast drums. I played the guitar and bass for this live!

Extreme Tag - Temple

They asked for a natural sounding track with atmospheric sounds and... birds? I loved this challenge.

Extreme Tag - Ruins 1

This was requested as yet another 'natural sounding' track, with a light synth and atmospheric vibe to it. I enjoyed experimenting with hand drums and woodwinds for this to get the perfect 'earthy' sound. Oh, and I brought back the birds.

Extreme Tag - Ruins 2

This track is for the same level as the last one, they liked option 1 so much they wanted a second. This time, we experimented with adding whispers to make it sound more mysterious, and sped it up to keep the chase element of the game active.
